The JoAnn McGovern Memorial Golf Tournament

For seven years, I served as both a graphic designer and on-site event supporter for the annual JoAnn McGovern Memorial Golf Tournament. Founded by the McGovern family in 2018 to honor their mother, who passed away from pancreatic cancer, the tournament raises funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer research.

I designed print materials, event signage, email communications, and commemorative photo books for sponsors. On the day of the event, I supported photography, helped with event setup, and assisted in coordinating the awards ceremony.

Chairman’s Circle & President’s Club

Collaborated closely with the Corporate Event Director and Vice President of Marketing to design cohesive materials for annual company incentive trips, which rewarded top sales originators with travel experiences to destinations such as Mexico, Hawaii, and the Bahamas. Each year featured a unique design theme, which I carried across a variety of assets including event signage, promotional items, print collateral, email communications, the digital awards program, and commemorative photo books for attendees.

During the trips, I also assisted with event photography and compiled daily images to create custom newsletters for attendees. These newsletters included photos, the daily agenda, local activity suggestions, fun puzzles, and destination highlights. Delivered to attendees’ rooms each morning, they were a memorable part of the experience—and especially popular with the kids!
